Egg Pakora Recipe

Hello fellas,

Since Monsoon has rained its Magic all over us, Lemme just share one real Easy Chai-time snack recipe that you can Try to substitute regular Pakoras.

Egg Pakora or Egg Bhajji /Egg Bonda would Add a little variation to the Kurkura Twist that we all like with our evening tea that too on an evening When it's all set to Rain or is Raining.

I had my little guest at home today , my nephew and he loves eggs. So made these for Him (sans all spicy toppings that usually we normally prefer)

Here we go:
I'm giving you the estimate 2 servings.

You gonna need:

2 Bolied eggs (de shelled )
1cup Besan (chickpea flour)
1/2 tsp Ajwain (carom)
1/2 tsp Jeera (cumin) Powder
Pinch of Baking soda
1/2 tsp red chilly powder (or as per choice)
1/2 tsp fresh ginger garlic paste ( can be avoided if you don't eat garlic)
1/2 tsp Garam masala
Water ( to make the batter )
Oil for deep frying

Method:

1)Take a Bowl and add all dry content to it and mix well.
 2) then add the ginger garlic paste and mix well
3) add water gradually with continuous whisking to make a smooth paste.
Make sure there are no Lumps.
Don't make the batter thin.. Since you need a proper coating for eggs it's better to have a thicker consistency
4) keep Oil to heat in a deep vessel or Kadhai or skillet

5) Now coat the boiled eggs by dipping in the bowl  one by one
You can even cut the eggs into halves and coat each half individually.. I prefer coating whole egg.

6) carefully drop each egg into the oil and deep fry till they are Golden brown
I prefer a little darker color :P
One point to remember here is that be careful , sometimes when you fry the whole egg, it tends to burst so don't stay too close to it while it cooks and shows some tantrums ;)

7) once cooked, remove from oil and blot on tissue to takeoff extra oil
8) cut Egg pakoras into half .
And garnish with thin diced carrots, onions, green chillies, lemon juice & chaat masala.
Since this was for my 6yr old nephew ,I skipped on green chillies garnishing.
 9) serve with Mint green chutney or Tomato ketchup.

Isn't this such a quick & easy to make snack?
Try it & Lemme know if you liked it.

Will be up with more of my kitchen experiments ,
Tills then,
Takecare
Happy Cooking :)
